How the Cauldron Works

Basic Upgrading (Stacking)

If you put two of the exact same item into the Cauldron, it acts as a stacking upgrade. The resulting item will always be the next rarity tier of that item. For example, two Common Recurve Bows will yield one Uncommon Recurve Bow.

Essence Fusions

Combining a base weapon with a specific Material or Relic (like Fire Essence) will completely morph the item into a new unique variant. Use the simulator to discover these secret fixed recipes.

Same-Tier Rerolls

Putting two entirely different items into the Cauldron that do not share a specific fixed recipe will execute a Reroll. You will be given a choice of a new item from the same tier. Use this path for spare items that do not support your best build, especially when chasing pierce, bleed, poison, or sustain effects for late Endless Mode waves.
